How To Apply for QDC License In Qatar ?

Here's a guide on how to apply for a QDC license Liquor Pertmit in Qatar.

Eligiblity :

• Non GCC citizens with a valid Qatar Resident Permit(RP).
• Over 21 Years Old.
• Basic Salary (Excluding allowences) of at least QAR 3,000 per month.
• Private accommodation(not applicable to those living in hotels.

Application Process :

1. Book an online appointment :
• Visit the QDC website : https://www.qdc.com.qa/
• Click on "New Permit" and schedule an appointment.
2. Gather a required documents :
• Original Qatar ID passport with RP.
• Letter from your employer in english addressed to QDC , stating :

accommodation entitlement(Free housing or allowence)




Signed and stamped by an authorized signatroy




Dated with at least 3 months




On Original company letterhead

3. Visit the QDC office :
• • Attend you appointment at the QDC office in Abu Hamour(location may change, check the website).
  • Bring the required document and pay the application fee (QAR 150 for 12 months, QAR 175 for 15 months and QAR 192 for 17 months).
  • Your photo will be taken and you'll be issued a temproray permit.
4. Collect your license :
• • The official license will be ready for collection within a few days. you'll be notified via SMS.

Additional Tips :

• • Renewal : License can be renew online or in person.
  • Click & collect : Pre-order products online and collect them at a specific time.
  • Spouse application : Both spouse can apply for a joint permit.
  • Pork prodcut : Sold to non Musalim only.
  • Alcohol consumption : Only allowed at the permit holder's resident.
  • Permit holder and goods : Must be in the same vehicle during transportation.
