How To Renew Qatar Driving License In Qatar 2024 ?

There are two convenient ways to renew your Qatar driving license in Qatar: online and in person.

Let's Start :

Renewing your license online:

1. Register or log in to the Metrash2 app or the MOI E-Services website (eservices.moi.gov.qa). You'll need a Qatari Smart ID card and a credit card for this method.
2. Click on the "Traffic" icon, then "License Service," and finally "Renew Driving License."
3. Enter your QID number and click "Next."
4. Choose your preferred delivery method: QPost (with an additional QR20 fee) or Traffic Department.
5. If you are choosing QPOST then Provide your house address(Zone, building no. and Street no.)
6. Make the QR250 renewal fee payment using your credit card.
7. That's it! Your renewed license will be delivered to your chosen address within a week.

Renewing your license in person:

1. Visit your nearest Madinat Khalifa Traffic Department or any MOI service office.
2. Take a token from the reception.
3. Once your token number is called, approach the counter and present your old driving license.
4. Pay the QR250 renewal fee using your debit or credit card.
5. Your renewed license will be printed and issued to you within minutes.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

• You can renew your license up to 90 days before it expires.
• You must have a valid residency permit to renew your license.
• If you have any traffic violations, you may need to clear them before you can renew your license.
